Moving Out Made Simple

We know moving can be a hassle. Please follow these 3 easy steps when moving out of one of our properties to ensure you get your security deposit back.

 

Step 1:

Notify the landlord at least 30 days before you plan to move.

Notice to Vacate

  • You can do this by email or by writing a letter. We need a document that states you plan to move and on what day.

Step 2:

Clean Up.

  • Restore the house to the condition in which you found it.

Here’s A Checklist

Remember, damaged or uncleaned areas will be billed to you or taken out of your security deposit.

What is damage and what is wear and tear?

Step 3:

Lock Up.

  • Lock up all doors and windows.

  • Cancel utilities and services.

  • Return your keys to F&S Building Supply.
